Moving and YouTube!

Hello!

It's been a while since I posted here. I have news for all the people that don't read!

I'm moving house!

I live with my mum and step dad as I can't live alone due to health/disability issues. My mum is also disabled after an accident at work that damaged her back.

At the moment we're in a ground floor flat, but my mum uses a wheelchair a fair amount and it doesn't fit in here. The building is fairly old, built in the sixties I think, and they can't really adapt it. Because of this, she requested to be moved on medical grounds (we're in social housing) and we finally got offered a lovely 2 bedroom bungalow about 10 minutes away.

It has a lovely garden that I'll eventually post pictures of.

Anyway, once we move, I'm hoping to start painting and crafting much more as I'll actually have room to, and once I'm doing that I'm hoping to make videos on YouTube. I don't think I'll be doing tutorials but I'd like to at least do some videos of me working.

Anyway, I made an introduction video for my channel. It's not amazing as I have no idea how to edit videos properly. I used Windows Movie Maker to edit them. I do have a Mac which I've been told has much better video editing software, but I have no idea how to use it. I'll try looking once I'm ready to make videos.

Anyway, here's the introduction!

My first project

I should be sleeping but I found my first ever attempt at mixed media painting stuffed into a bag in my wardrobe.

It's not much,  but I wanted to at least put one picture on here as it's supposed to be my art blog.

I think in future I'll print lettering or use stamps. I'm severely dyspraxic and my handwriting just isn't nice.

Anyway here's the picture.

Hello world!

So. I made a blog.

The idea is, that when I actually start art journaling I'll use this blog to talk about the pages I do and to share pictures.

There may be some other bits in there too. I'm hoping that I can find a way to organise posts so that people not interested in the other bits can skip them, however I don't know if that's possible so I may just resort to putting a warning in the post title.

I honestly have no idea what to put here. It's not like I've got a following or anything, right now I'm just rambling at the internet in general.

I may end up making YouTube videos, though again, right now I'm not sure.

I should probably make some sort of introduction page or something. I'll have to look into it at some point.

Right now, I think I just want to figure out how to make my blog pretty.

I think I'll leave it here for now.
